Koenji Kita Eye Clinic is an ophthalmology clinic located in Koenji Kita, Suginami Ward, Tokyo. Established in April 2018, the clinic is operated by the director who has 27 years of ophthalmology experience at university and general hospitals. Consultations are conducted on a first-come, first-served basis without appointments, while post-operative examinations, visual field tests, strabismus and amblyopia tests, pediatric vision tests, and eyeglass examinations require appointments only. For pediatric ophthalmology, both initial and follow-up visits for vision tests and strabismus amblyopia tests require appointments as they require extended examination time. Regarding surgeries, the clinic performs day cataract surgery (including multifocal, monofocal, and toric intraocular lenses) and day vitreous surgery for epiretinal membrane and vitreous hemorrhage (including combined cataract vitreous surgery). Additionally, vitreous surgery, glaucoma surgery, anti-VEGF antibody intravitreal injection, Botox injection for eyelid and facial spasms, chalazion excision, and lacrimal tube insertion are performed. As COVID-19 infection control measures, alcohol disinfection of examination equipment, staff mask wearing, hand washing, alcohol disinfection, and temperature measurement are thoroughly implemented, with five air purifiers constantly operating to maintain a clean clinic environment. The clinic offers English language services and barrier-free access, and is closed on Thursdays, Sundays, holidays, and year-end and New Year period.
