Located in Kabukicho, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, just a 1-minute walk from the North Exit of Seibu-Shinjuku Station, this facility is a consultation center operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government for regular HIV and syphilis testing. Appointments can be made by phone or online. The facility is open on weekdays from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM (Monday to Friday), and on weekends and holidays from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Every Wednesday is designated as a testing day for women, and the facility is available year-round except during specific periods such as year-end and New Year holidays. HIV testing is recommended at least 60 days after a suspected exposure, and syphilis testing is conducted simultaneously. During the period of June 1 to June 30 and November 16 to December 15, urine testing for gonorrhea and chlamydia is also available upon request. The facility supports English and Korean, and is equipped with barrier-free facilities. Medical interviews and blood draws are conducted in separate private rooms, ensuring privacy where no one other than doctors and nurses can enter. Testing is anonymous and free, and results are typically provided verbally only to the individual one week later, on the same day of the week and at the same time as the original test.
