Florence Children & Mind Clinic is a medical clinic operated by the medical corporation Margaret, located in Yoyogi, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. The clinic opened as Margaret Children's Clinic in 2017 and reopened under its current name in December 2023. Initially starting as pediatrics, the clinic received increasing opportunities for consultations on developmental issues and school non-attendance through clinical practice, leading to more frequent opportunities to listen to parental concerns. This led to the idea of creating additional spaces for developmental and mental consultations, not just physical consultations for children. Against this background, in November 2023, the clinic expanded its developmental outpatient services, launched a psychosomatic medicine department for women and an outpatient department for children who have chosen not to attend school, and also provides a pill outpatient service for elementary school students and up, also known as a menstrual outpatient service. The clinical departments are centered on pediatrics, with an allergy outpatient service launched in December 2018 and a developmental outpatient service launched in February 2020. Additionally, the clinic has introduced a spot vision screener for eye examinations of infants and toddlers, and supports online and telephone consultations. The clinic aims to be a place where people can easily consult about children's issues, parental concerns and hardships, and women's mental difficulties. 24-hour web reservations are available, and the clinic has adopted a web consultation system that allows patients to complete consultation forms from home using smartphones or PCs. A reservation system has been introduced to reduce time spent in the waiting area, with minimal decorations to allow mothers to relax, and no kids' space is provided to prevent infection. On the first floor, mainly patients of the psychosomatic medicine department for women, weekday developmental outpatient services, school non-attendance outpatient services, and menstrual outpatient services receive examinations. On the third floor, mainly pediatrics, adult cold examinations, and sublingual immunotherapy treatments for patients of all ages are performed. The clinic supports English, credit cards, electronic payments, and barrier-free access.
