Director Dr. Sayaka Ikeda has been engaged in obstetrics and gynecology care for many years, specializing in gynecological malignancies including cervical dysplasia, cervical cancer, uterine cancer, and ovarian cancer, as well as benign conditions such as uterine fibroids and endometriosis, conducting both clinical practice and research. Through multidisciplinary treatment including numerous surgeries, Dr. Ikeda daily addresses patients' concerns. This approach is informed by psychology studies at university before entering medical school. In graduate school, Dr. Ikeda conducted epidemiological research on HPV vaccine efficacy and recognizes the importance of preventive medicine by conveying accurate medical knowledge clearly and precisely to help prevent diseases or enable early detection for better health.
