Wata Clinic, located in Aoto, Katsushika Ward, Tokyo, is an internal medicine clinic specializing in home care support. Opened in Katsushika Ward in August 2002, it has since expanded to Edogawa Ward and Sumida Ward. As a core facility of the Japanese Society for Palliative Medicine and a certified training facility of the Japanese Society of Home and Hospice Care, the clinic focuses on end-of-life care to help patients spend time in their own way. By conducting home visit medical care, they value the comfort of staying in familiar homes, believing that the everyday sounds of the kitchen and washing machine provide healing to patients. To provide medical care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, they keep emergency mobile phones by their bedside, with doctors and nursing staff working together to support patients. English is supported, and the facility is barrier-free. Home visit services are available for Katsushika Ward, Edogawa Ward, Sumida Ward, Adachi Ward, Koto Ward, and the Togatsu region of Chiba Prefecture.
