Shimurasakaue Clinic, operated by the medical corporation Junkaikai, is an internal medicine clinic located a 9-minute walk from either Shimura-sakaue Station or Shimura-sanchome Station. It inherited the former Sakamoto Hospital, which opened in 1963, and relocated to its current location in 2013 with a name change. Appointments are accepted online for initial visits, follow-ups, and fever clinics, and walk-ins are also available except for the fever clinic. Clinic hours are Tuesday afternoons 14:00-16:30, Saturday mornings only, with temporary fever clinic hours at 12:00-12:30 and 17:30-18:00. The clinic is closed on Wednesdays, Sundays, holidays, and Saturday afternoons, with closures during summer and year-end/New Year periods. Credit cards and electronic payments are accepted, and medical services in English are available. Health checkups and vaccinations can be booked by phone, and influenza vaccines are available without an appointment.
