Neurology staff include an associate professor from a university who sees patients on Mondays; an ophthalmology specialist provides consultations on Tuesday and Friday mornings and Saturday afternoons. Emergency internal medicine is covered by a trauma and emergency physician from the University of Tokyo on Fridays, and internal medicine features a Chinese-speaking physician on Saturdays. A current professor of respiratory medicine visits from the main hospital every Saturday to treat conditions such as pneumonia, which is common among the elderly.
