Director Takashi Hosaka graduated from Keio University School of Medicine and has dedicated his career to the development of liaison psychiatry, playing a key role in founding the Japanese Society of General Hospital Psychiatry in 1988. After studying in the United States, he became a pioneer in psycho-oncology in Japan. As a professor at St. Luke's International University, he helped establish the Psycho-Oncology Department at St. Luke's International Hospital.
