Emamoto Eye Clinic is an ophthalmology clinic located on the 9th floor of Lumine Kitasenju near Kitasenju Station. The clinic provides medical consultations in English. In terms of diagnostic equipment, the clinic has introduced an ultra-widefield fundus camera that can capture a wider range than standard fundus cameras in just 0.4 seconds, as well as an OCT that captures cross-sectional images of the eye similar to CT scans. These advanced devices allow for detailed examination of conditions such as age-related macular degeneration and glaucomatous changes. Visual field tests require appointments and are available on weekdays as well as weekends and holidays. Prescription eyewear also requires appointments. Reception hours are daily except Wednesdays, and Wednesdays are generally closed days, though consultations are provided if Wednesday falls on a holiday. Payment is cash only, and minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The director and deputy director engage in specialized care, including authoring textbooks on neuro-ophthalmology and presenting at academic conferences.
