Yata Clinic, located in Kawashima-cho, Yoshinogawa City, Tokushima Prefecture, is an internal medicine clinic that has supported community healthcare since its establishment in 1946. After relocating to its current location in 1984, the clinic now operates with two full-time physicians - the director and vice-director - both holding specialist qualifications in general internal medicine. Consultation hours are 9:00-12:30 and 14:00-18:30 on weekdays, with Thursday, Sunday, and public holidays closed. In addition to general internal medicine and lifestyle-related diseases, the clinic offers specialized outpatient care for Type 1 diabetes, blood disorders, collagen diseases, and infectious diseases. The diabetes specialist and hematology/infectious disease specialists are among the few in the central-western region of the prefecture, providing specialized care in collaboration with core hospitals. The clinic also provides home-visit and home healthcare services, and has been certified as a home care support clinic since April 2012, coordinating with visiting nursing stations. In-house dispensing is available, with physicians providing direct medication guidance. When advanced examinations or hospitalization are required, referrals are made to Awa Hospital, Yoshinogawa Medical Center, Tokushima Prefectural Central Hospital, Tokushima Municipal Hospital, Tokushima Red Cross Hospital, and Tokushima University Hospital. Parking is available, and English communication is possible.
