Iinomoto Ophthalmology and Internal Medicine Clinic, located in Kitajima Town, Itano District, Tokushima Prefecture, opened as an ophthalmology clinic in 1995 and added internal medicine services in 1998. The ophthalmology and internal medicine departments work together to detect and treat lifestyle diseases early, providing care for patients with diabetes, hypertension, and dyslipidemia. The internal medicine department focuses on early detection of digestive diseases such as stomach cancer and colon cancer, performing regular endoscopic examinations and implementing blood coagulation tests to prevent thrombosis. The physicians include two ophthalmology specialists certified by the Japanese Ophthalmological Society, a diabetes specialist certified by the Japan Diabetes Society, and a digestive disease specialist certified by the Japanese Society of Gastroenterology, providing specialized care based on expertise in each field. The clinic has adopted modern medical equipment including wide-angle fundus cameras, 3D retinal analysis devices, transnasal endoscopes, and sleep apnea testing equipment, offering treatment that minimizes patient burden.
