Clinic Ida is a community-based clinic located in Arai-cho, Kosai City, Shizuoka Prefecture, specializing in internal medicine and surgery (gastroenterology and breast surgery). Since opening in September 2006, the clinic has focused on screening, diagnosis, and treatment of lifestyle-related diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, and breast conditions, and has more recently expanded its services to include dementia care. The clinic also provides influenza vaccinations, fever consultations for infectious diseases, and home medical visits to special nursing homes and group homes, meeting a wide range of community healthcare needs. Transnasal gastroscopy is available by appointment daily, while mammography is available on a walk-in basis without prior appointment, ensuring convenient access to screenings and examinations. Consultation hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the morning and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. in the afternoon (closed on Wednesday afternoons, Saturday afternoons, Sundays, and public holidays). The clinic features a parking lot for easy access by car, as well as barrier-free facilities and English-language support, creating a welcoming environment for a diverse range of patients. It is also conveniently accessible by public transportation, located within a 5-minute walk from Ion Town Kosai and within a 15-minute walk from Washizu Station on the Tokaido Line.
