Oosugi Family Dental Clinic, located in Shinohara-cho, Naka-ku, Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, is a 10-minute walk from Takatsuka Station on the Tokaido Line and a 1-minute walk from Takatsuka-Nishi bus stop on Entetsu Bus. Operating as a community-based clinic since opening in 1984, it reopened in 2019 after renovations. The vice director graduated from Osaka University School of Dentistry, obtained a Ph.D. in Medicine from Nagoya University Graduate School of Medicine, and has worked at Nagoya University Hospital and Fujieda Heisei Memorial Hospital. The clinic has introduced dental CT and offers a wide range of treatments from cavities and periodontal disease, pediatric dentistry, implants, and oral surgery to treatment for patients with pre-existing conditions. Emphasis is placed on infection control using high-standard sterilizers. For initial consultations, privacy is ensured in counseling areas and private special examination rooms, where symptoms and treatment plans are explained using CT images and animations on monitors while avoiding technical jargon. Facilities include 8 parking spaces, a kids' corner with monitors constantly playing animated DVDs, and massage-equipped dental chairs in special examination rooms. With English support, credit card and electronic payment acceptance, and barrier-free accessibility, the clinic provides an environment that is easy to visit for people of all ages.
