Takanaka Circulatory Clinic is a specialized cardiovascular facility established in 2009 on the north shore of Lake Sanuma in Hamamatsu City. In addition to cardiovascular diseases such as ischemic heart disease, arrhythmia, chronic heart failure, aortic diseases, arteriosclerosis obliterans, and venous diseases, the clinic also treats lifestyle diseases including hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, obesity, and metabolic syndrome. In terms of diagnostic equipment, the clinic provides diagnostic capabilities beyond the typical clinic level, including coronary angiography using MDCT and cardiac echocardiography performed by sonographers with CVT certification recognized by the four cardiovascular societies. The number of coronary CT angiography cases has reached 6,000 in the 10 years since opening, and the clinic's fundamental philosophy is accurate diagnosis and treatment decisions based on shared decision making. Heart screening is also available, and all consultations are by appointment only. The facility offers a bright and open space where patients can enjoy freshly brewed coffee during their waiting time. English language support, parking, barrier-free access, and My Number card acceptance are all available.
