Taniguchi Pediatric Clinic is a community-based clinic specializing in pediatrics and internal medicine, located in Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture. The current director, Dr. Kazuo Taniguchi, is a board-certified pediatrician who gained experience at a university hospital in Tokyo before taking over the clinic originally founded by his father approximately 40 years ago, with a focus on supporting the healthy growth of children. Following a newly constructed relocation, the clinic's interior and exterior have been thoughtfully designed to ensure patients can receive treatment in a comfortable and reassuring environment. Consultations are held in two sessions — morning and afternoon — and vaccinations are available on weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings, covering a wide range of immunizations from routine vaccines such as BCG and the DPT-IPV combination to optional vaccines. Health screenings include not only publicly subsidized examinations but also optional check-ups, providing a system for continuous health management from infancy onward. As part of promoting digital transformation in healthcare, the clinic has introduced online insurance eligibility verification and is actively working to prevent duplicate prescriptions and facilitate information sharing between medical institutions.
