Located in Tanuma, Fujieda City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Sakuma Dental Clinic has provided medical care to the local community for 31 years since its establishment in 1994. The clinic offers general dentistry and pediatric dentistry, with a staff of 16 including 10 dental hygienists led by Clinic Director Yoshimitsu Sakuma, who graduated from Asahi University School of Dentistry. In terms of infection control, the clinic implements thorough measures by providing sterilized packs of treatment instruments for each patient and using disposable paper cups and bibs. With the introduction of digital X-rays, radiation exposure is reduced to one-tenth of conventional levels, and the installation of extraoral suction devices that quickly capture airborne dust and aerosols during treatment ensures a cleaner and more comfortable treatment environment. In addition to these facility improvements, the clinic has introduced dental lasers to achieve painless treatment. The clinic can provide services in English, accepts credit cards, debit cards, and electronic payments, and has a parking lot.
