Hoshina Dental Clinic, located in Nakajima, Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture, is a dental practice with 33 years of history since its establishment in 1989. Emphasizing preventive oral care management as its fundamental principle, the clinic addresses the relationship between periodontal disease and diabetes and heart disease. Guided by the policy of "no extraction, no drilling, no pain," it serves a wide age range from children to the elderly, providing personalized treatment for each patient. In September 2019, two new treatment chairs were installed. Considering infection prevention, an appointment system is adopted to ensure sufficient time for each patient. Vital checks and temperature screenings are implemented to maintain a safe treatment environment. A significant feature is the ability to produce CADCAM crowns in-house. Hybrid resin crowns are covered by insurance not only for premolars and first molars but also for front teeth. Since April 2022, inlays are also available, and for patients with metal allergies who have a medical certificate, second molars are also covered. Two types of whitening are offered: in-clinic treatment taking about 2 hours and at-home treatment lasting about 2 weeks. Whitening paste and brushes for daily brushing are also available. PMTC performed as the finishing touch of treatment and partial laminates are also provided. English support is available, credit cards and electronic payments are accepted, and parking and barrier-free facilities are fully equipped.
