Nakajima Eye Clinic, located in Iriyamase, Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture, has been performing advanced ophthalmic surgeries including vitreoretinal surgery, complex cataract surgery, and glaucoma surgery since its establishment in 1988. The clinic performs vitreoretinal surgery for epiretinal membrane, macular hole, vitreomacular traction syndrome, proliferative diabetic retinopathy, rhegmatogenous retinal detachment, intraocular lens dislocation, and capsule rupture cases. They also handle complex cases including weak zonules, lens subluxation, post-glaucoma attack, and hypermature cataract. With extensive experience in multifocal intraocular lenses for presbyopia correction, the clinic performs minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) for patients whose intraocular pressure cannot be controlled with eye drops or those with progressive visual field defects. Hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays and 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturdays, closed Thursdays, Sundays, holidays, and year-end/New Year period. Walk-in patients without prior appointments or referrals are welcome, and English services are available. The clinic accepts credit cards, debit cards, and electronic payments, and provides parking and barrier-free facilities. A shuttle bus is also available.
