Danno Dermatology Clinic is a specialized dermatology clinic located in Ritto City, Shiga Prefecture, conveniently situated approximately a 5-minute walk from the east exit of JR Ritto Station. Director Dr. Kiichiro Danno graduated from Kyoto University School of Medicine and has an extensive career that includes a study abroad at the University of California, serving as a lecturer in dermatology at Kyoto University School of Medicine, and as an associate professor of dermatology at Shiga University of Medical Science. He holds board certification from the Japanese Dermatological Association. The clinic specializes in allergic skin diseases, photosensitivity disorders, psoriasis, and pediatric skin conditions, and has been providing community-based medical care since its establishment in 2008. The clinic handles a wide range of skin conditions under health insurance coverage, including atopic dermatitis, eczema, infectious diseases, acne, and skin tumors, and also offers skin cancer diagnosis through tissue biopsy as well as dermoscopic evaluation of moles and birthmarks. Patients of all ages are welcome, from newborns to the elderly, and consultations in English are available. A parking lot accommodating 10 vehicles is available at the rear of the building. An online same-day queue reservation system has also been implemented to help reduce patient waiting times.
