Located in Tsuchida-cho, Omihachiman City, Omihachiman City General Medical Center is a comprehensive hospital serving as the only emergency and critical care center in the Higashi-Omi medical area. With the emergency and critical care center as its core, the hospital has established a backup system across all medical departments to treat critically ill patients. Medical departments include internal medicine, neurosurgery, neurology, ophthalmology, otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, gastroenterology, nephrology, urology, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, hematology, endocrinology, orthopedics, and dermatology, among others. They provide specialized treatment for head and neck, eye, nose, and ear symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, nasal congestion, and hearing problems, as well as gastrointestinal, kidney and urological, pediatric and women's health, blood and metabolic conditions, and trauma, bone, and skin issues. The facility accepts credit cards and electronic payments, and is equipped with parking and barrier-free facilities. Services are available in English, Korean, and other languages, with closure on weekends, holidays, and year-end/New Year holidays.
