Itsuki Dental Clinic is located in Minakuchi-cho, Koka City, Shiga Prefecture, just an 8-minute walk from the north exit of Kibukawa Station on the Kusatsu Line, making it an easily accessible dental and pediatric dental clinic. Director Dr. Sara Hojo graduated from the Kagoshima University School of Dentistry and opened the clinic in December 2000, supporting the local community's dental health for over 20 years. The clinic places great emphasis on carefully listening to each patient's individual needs and developing a comprehensive treatment plan with the entire oral cavity in mind. Rather than relying solely on verbal explanations, the clinic utilizes models, illustrations, and monitor displays of X-ray images to help patients visually understand their own oral condition. In terms of hygiene management, each instrument is sterilized individually, and the clinic conducts thorough cleaning checks three times daily—morning, noon, and evening—demonstrating a strong commitment to infection prevention and maintaining a clean treatment environment. In the pediatric dentistry department, parents are welcome to accompany their children in the treatment room, and the dentist personally provides careful explanations to help alleviate any anxiety. In addition to general dentistry, the clinic also offers cosmetic treatments such as teeth whitening and all-ceramic restorations. First-time patients and those requiring urgent care are accepted on the same day. With 10 parking spaces available and barrier-free facilities in place, the clinic is accessible to a wide range of patients. English-language support is also available, allowing the clinic to meet diverse patient needs.
