In pediatric dental treatment, a female dentist who is a Pediatric Dentistry Specialist certified by the Japanese Society of Pediatric Dentistry performs treatment, focusing on the prevention of cavities and teeth alignment issues. Regarding pain consideration, surface anesthesia is applied to the gums before injection, and pain is reduced by managing the injection speed and the temperature of the anesthetic solution. To maintain healthy teeth for a long time, the clinic practices cavity treatment that removes as little tooth structure as possible. Periodontal treatment also considers pain, and the clinic places emphasis on maintenance under a dedicated dental hygienist system. In terms of hygiene management, disinfection and sterilization of treatment instruments are performed for each patient, the area around the dental chair is wiped with alcohol, regular cleaning is implemented, and measures against hospital-acquired infections are thoroughly implemented.
