Located in Mizuno, Sayama City, Saitama Prefecture, Sayama Shojukai Hospital is a medical institution established in June 2024 through the merger of the former Daishin Hospital and Asahi Hospital. The former Daishin Hospital, which opened in 1979, provided convalescent to chronic phase medical care in the Saitama Prefecture Western Medical Area, while the former Asahi Hospital, established in 2004, functioned as a dementia specialty hospital and was designated as a Dementia Medical Center for the same area. The integration of both hospitals has improved access to medical care, responding to regional healthcare needs primarily in the Saitama Prefecture Western Medical Area (mainly covering Iruma, Tokorozawa, Hanno, and Hidaka cities). The hospital dedicates itself to regional healthcare not only through physician treatments but also in collaboration with nursing, care, rehabilitation, and administrative staff who manage these services. In terms of facilities, it offers parking and barrier-free access, accepts credit card and electronic payments, and provides services in English. The medical department is internal medicine, with closed days on weekends, holidays, and year-end/New Year (December 31 to January 3).
