Ito Orthodontic Clinic is an orthodontic specialty clinic located in Gion, Sayama City, Saitama Prefecture. The clinic was established in 1995 against the backdrop of there being no orthodontic specialty clinics in Sayama City and neighboring Iruma City, marking its 30th anniversary in June 2025. The clinic director studied orthodontics at Tokyo Medical and Dental University (now Tokyo Science University) and continues to refine skills as an orthodontist by continuously presenting clinical results at academic conferences. The clinic emphasizes knowledge, techniques, and imagination derived from experience in orthodontic treatment, carefully examining data obtained through examinations to envision the ideal treatment goals for each patient. The ability to visualize the process of formulating treatment plans and reaching the goal forms the foundation of the clinic's orthodontic treatment. The clinic also places strong emphasis on collaboration with other departments; in cases such as deeply impacted wisdom teeth or congenital abnormalities in the lips or jaw bone, necessary specialists are consulted for collaborative treatment. The clinic maintains close communication with numerous medical institutions including member clinics of the Sayama City Dental Association, Saitama Medical University Hospital, and the University of Tokyo Hospital, conducting joint treatments. Infection control is thoroughly implemented, with disposable masks, gloves, paper cups, and aprons used as much as possible to prevent hospital-acquired infections, and instruments used in treatment are sterilized using autoclaves (high-pressure steam sterilization devices). The clinic provides parking and offers English language support.
