Located in Ogamachi, Hiki District, Saitama Prefecture, Tajima Clinic is a historic internal medicine clinic celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2024. The clinic offers English-speaking services and has on-site parking. Due to physician scheduling, consultations are currently limited to approximately two Sundays per month. The clinic accepts health insurance. Non-vaccine consultations do not require reservations, and new patient registration as well as second opinions by internal medicine specialists are available. For infectious disease prevention, antibody testing for influenza and COVID-19 is provided, along with various vaccination services. Influenza vaccination is free for town residents aged 65 and over, 3,000 yen for non-residents aged 65 and over, and 3,500 yen for those under 65. COVID-19 vaccination uses the Comirnaty vaccine and costs 12,000 yen for town residents aged 65 and over, and 14,000 yen for those under 65. Pneumococcal vaccination is available at 8,000 yen for initial vaccination, 6,000 yen for revaccination, and 5,000 yen for those aged 65 who receive a letter from the town. Herpes zoster vaccination is available as a live vaccine at 8,000 yen for one dose, or an inactivated vaccine at 22,000 yen for two doses, with town subsidies available for elderly patients from April 2025. Hay fever medications are also available, and blood tests to identify allergy causes are offered. Referrals to major hospitals are provided as needed.
