Located in Nakacho, Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture, Hori Dental Clinic is housed in a historic building built in 1936 as Kawagoe's first department store. After being restored in 2007 while preserving its original appearance, the building received the 2008 Kawagoe Urban Landscape Award and the 2008 Saitama Scenery Award. A distinctive feature is the warm light filtering through the stained glass at the clinic entrance, which has been in place since construction. The clinic is led by a director with a Doctor of Dental Science degree and primarily offers general and pediatric dentistry, along with teeth whitening, aesthetic dentistry, and temporomandibular disorder treatment. In compliance with notification to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's Regional Bureau, the clinic meets the standards for initial dental examination fees Note 1 and maintains comprehensive infection prevention measures. The online qualification verification system has been implemented to accept My Number cards, and itemized receipts showing individual medical fee calculation items are issued free of charge. The clinic has also established systems for dental and oral rehabilitation 2 and medical DX promotion, including fabrication and training for temporomandibular disorder treatment devices, two-year maintenance of crowns and bridges, crown and inlay fabrication using computer-aided design and manufacturing units, collaboration with dental laboratories, and intraoral verification during optical impressions. Additionally, the facility is equipped with English-speaking support and a parking lot.
