Dr. Chikaya Nonaka, the director, graduated from Osaka Medical University and subsequently worked at Saiseikai Suita Hospital and Taisho Hospital, where he earned his doctoral degree and served as vice director, establishing his expertise in gastrointestinal diseases. A distinctive feature of this clinic is gastroscopy (upper GI endoscopy) performed by the director, who specializes in the upper digestive tract (esophagus, stomach, and duodenum). The clinic employs a thin-diameter fiberscope with a tip diameter of 5 millimeters, allowing for examinations with minimal discomfort even without intravenous anesthesia. The clinic also actively provides testing and eradication treatment for Helicobacter pylori bacteria in the stomach. In terms of equipment, the clinic has introduced an endoscope disinfection system using electrolyzed acidic water, implementing thorough infection control measures by disinfecting after each examination. Abdominal ultrasound examinations are also available for the liver, gallbladder, kidneys, and pancreas.
