Sakamoto Clinic is a psychosomatic medicine and psychiatry clinic located on the 5th floor of Kitasenri Medical Building, a 2-minute walk from Kitasenri Station in Suita City, Osaka Prefecture. The clinic's director, Dr. Hidemi Sakamoto, graduated from Osaka University School of Medicine and, after conducting research at the Osaka Prefectural Adult Disease Center and Osaka University Graduate School, opened the clinic in 2000. He holds qualifications as a designated physician for mental health and as a board-certified psychiatrist of the Japanese Society of Psychiatry and Neurology, bringing extensive experience and specialized knowledge to his practice. The clinic addresses a wide range of mental health concerns, including stress, anxiety, and low mood arising from home and workplace situations, and also accepts consultations regarding sleep issues, loss of motivation, and forgetfulness. In addition, the clinic offers services such as psychiatric day care and psychological counseling, with an emphasis on ensuring sufficient consultation time for each individual patient. English-language consultations are available, making the clinic accessible to patients whose primary language is not Japanese. The facility is barrier-free and equipped with a parking lot accommodating 30 vehicles, ensuring convenient access for patients. The clinic operates in two sessions—morning and afternoon—primarily on weekdays, and first-time visits require an appointment.
