Mikunigaoka Kokoro no Clinic

Located about a 5-minute walk from Mikunigaoka Station on the JR Nankai Koya Line, Mikunigaoka Kokoro Clinic has been operating as a satellite clinic of Mikunigaoka Hospital since October 2007, providing child psychiatric care primarily for children aged 4 to junior high school students. Following physician examinations, various psychological services including psychological testing by clinical psychologists and certified psychologists, play therapy, and counseling are available, with treatment conducted through play in a dedicated playroom. This medical facility runs a weekly group program called "Nagomi" for school-refusal children from Monday through Friday, offering programs beneficial for enrichment of daily life and development of adaptability through creative activities, cooking, study, communication games, and social skills training. Parent training for parents of children with developmental disabilities and parent meetings where parents share concerns and experiences are held monthly, and visiting nursing for children and adolescents by nurses is also provided. Clinic hours are 9:00 to 11:30 Monday through Friday, and 14:00 to 16:30 on Mondays and Fridays. The clinic is closed Wednesday and Saturday afternoons, Sundays, and holidays, and operates on an appointment-only basis.
