Minoh City Hospital is conveniently located just a 4-minute walk from Minoh-Funaba-Handaimae Station. Established in 1981, this Osaka Prefecture-designated secondary emergency medical facility is accredited by the Japan Council for Quality Health Care. With 317 beds, the hospital transitioned in April 2024 to a management system with Kyowa Medical Corporation as the designated administrator. To strengthen specialized medical services, the hospital has established a Breast Center and Abdominal Hernia Center. At the Breast Center, Dr. Miyoshi, former professor of breast surgery at Hyogo Medical University, serves as center director providing state-of-the-art treatments. The Abdominal Hernia Center selects treatment methods such as laparoscopic surgery and robotic surgery based on each patient's condition. The hospital also focuses on Alzheimer's disease treatment using lecanemab, with newly established departments of nephrology and general internal medicine. Currently, plans are underway to relocate to a new building at the same prime location, expanding bed capacity from 317 to 390 beds. The hospital offers English language services and accepts credit cards and electronic payments. Parking and barrier-free facilities are also fully equipped.
