Located in Makino-Shimajimocho, Hirakata City, Osaka Prefecture, Fujiyama Clinic is a medical clinic specializing in cardiology, internal medicine, and pediatrics, which opened in September 2007. The clinic accepts patients with fever regardless of their visit history and accepts applications for influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations. Vaccinations require temperature checks and completion of medical history forms in advance to prevent crowding inside the clinic. The clinic also provides after-hours care when physicians are available and conducts health checkups for early detection and prevention of lifestyle-related diseases. The facility offers parking and barrier-free access, with English services available. Director Dr. Soichiro Fujiiyama, a graduate of Kansai Medical University, worked in the Department of Cardiology at Kishiwada City Hospital and engaged in research at Baylor College of Medicine in the United States after completing graduate school. He is affiliated with the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine, the Japan Diabetes Society, the Japanese Circulation Society, the American Heart Association, and the International Society for Stem Cell Research, among other professional organizations.
