Located in Terakawa, Daito City, Osaka Prefecture, Hana Hospital (operated by the Medical Corporation Jinseikai) provides medical care in departments including Internal Medicine, Respiratory Medicine, Orthopedics, Rehabilitation, Dentistry, Radiology, and Dermatology within a 6-story reinforced concrete fire-resistant building. The hospital, established in 1962 as a tuberculosis treatment facility, now leverages its extensive experience in treating pulmonary tuberculosis to also treat respiratory diseases other than tuberculosis, such as pneumonia and asthma. In recent years, addressing the increasing prevalence of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) such as bronchitis and emphysema caused by smoking and air pollution, the hospital is placing emphasis on treating these conditions. Beyond accepting tuberculosis patients 24 hours a day, in response to the aging society and the reality that more patients are unable to return to their previous lives even after treatment, the hospital has integrated numerous support facilities including nursing care facilities, paid nursing homes, and home care support systems to support the lives of the elderly from all angles, including post-treatment medical care.
