Medical Corporation Association MARINA, located in Uchisange, Kita-ku, Okayama City, is a pediatric clinic situated a 3-minute walk from Kenchomae Station on the Okayama Electric Tramway Higashiyama Line. The clinic opened on September 2, 2019, and under the direction of Dr. Akiko Yamamoto, provides general pediatric care, vaccinations, infant and toddler health checkups, and nutritional consultations. A notable feature of this clinic is its infection control measure of separating examination rooms by type of illness. The rooms are clearly divided into the 'Apple Room' for general conditions, the 'Melon Room' for cases where highly contagious diseases are suspected, and the 'Mandarin Room' exclusively for infant checkups and vaccinations, with a design that minimizes the risk of in-clinic infection. Two HEPA filter-equipped air purifiers are installed in the separate room for patients with suspected infectious diseases, and ten air purifiers operate throughout the entire facility, ensuring thorough sanitation management.
