Iwamoto Clinic, operated by Nozomu Medical Corporation, is a community-based clinic located in Kamihigashi, Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture, offering internal medicine, surgery, orthopedics, rheumatology, and diagnostic radiology. The clinic has introduced the latest transnasal endoscopy system by FUJIFILM, enabling upper gastrointestinal endoscopy through the nose, which places less burden on patients compared to oral examination. High-resolution imaging allows for early detection and diagnosis of lesions, tissue biopsy can be performed simultaneously during the examination, and comprehensive care is provided from testing and diagnosis to treatment of Helicobacter pylori infection. The facility is also equipped with a state-of-the-art color-display ultrasound diagnostic device and a multi-helical CT scanner, providing a well-equipped diagnostic environment despite its clinic-scale operation. Weekday hours are 9:00–12:30 in the morning and 15:00–19:30 in the afternoon, with reception open until 19:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, accommodating patients who visit in the evening. Hours on Thursdays and Saturdays differ, so advance confirmation is recommended. Since January 2026, a smoking cessation clinic has resumed, offering an approximately three-month smoking cessation support program combining counseling and pharmacotherapy on an appointment basis. English-language consultations are available, and the clinic features a parking lot and barrier-free access, creating a welcoming environment for a wide range of visitors. As an infection control measure, patients with fever or cold-like symptoms are asked to contact the clinic in advance, and consultations are conducted in a negative-pressure tent or separate room to prevent in-facility infections.
