Miura Dermatology Clinic, located in Achi 3-chome, Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture, has been serving the local community for over half a century since its founding by the first director in 1970. The current director, Dr. Yoshihiro Miura, holds a medical doctorate and is a board-certified dermatologist recognized by the Japanese Dermatological Association, providing care for a wide range of skin conditions including eczema, contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, urticaria, acne, tinea pedis, warts, herpes, and alopecia areata. In 2017, the clinic was rebuilt into its third-generation facility, featuring an elevator and barrier-free accessibility throughout. The clinic is equipped with the latest ultraviolet phototherapy system (Therabeam UV308) for conditions such as psoriasis, vitiligo, and atopic dermatitis. Laser treatments are also available using a Q-switched alexandrite laser and CO2 laser, addressing concerns such as age spots, freckles, mole and wart removal, and acne scar improvement. Dermatological surgery encompasses wound care for cuts, abrasions, and burns, suturing, and same-day outpatient surgery for skin growths. For ingrown and curved nails, multiple treatment options are offered, including acrylic artificial nails and the super-elastic wire method. Consultation hours are 9:00–12:00 in the morning and 15:00–18:00 in the afternoon, with the clinic closed on Thursday afternoons, Saturday afternoons, Sundays, and public holidays. English-language assistance is available, and the clinic accepts credit cards and electronic payments. Parking is also available on-site.
