Kurashiki Municipal Citizen's Hospital is a public hospital located approximately 10 minutes on foot from the west exit of Kojima Station on the JR Seto-Ohashi Line. It is a comprehensive medical facility offering a wide range of departments, including internal medicine, pulmonology, gastroenterology, cardiology, neurology, and palliative care medicine, as well as surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, plastic surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, urology, psychiatry, allergology, rheumatology, rehabilitation, radiology, and oral and maxillofacial surgery. Outpatient hours are from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the hospital closed on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and year-end and New Year holidays. The pediatrics department also offers after-hours consultations on weekdays, accepting patients until 8:00 p.m. The obstetrics and gynecology department handles deliveries, and private rooms are equipped with showers and toilets. Specialized outpatient clinics are also available, including a foot care clinic and laser clinic in plastic surgery, as well as developmental consultations and clinics for short stature and bedwetting in pediatrics. Multilingual support is available in English, Korean, and other languages, and the hospital provides approximately 200 free parking spaces along with barrier-free facilities, creating an accessible environment for a wide range of patients.
