Hiraki Eye Clinic, located in Nanukamachi, Ibara City, Okayama Prefecture, is an ophthalmology specialty clinic that opened in 2000. Director Dr. Yasunori Hiraki holds a medical doctorate and is certified by the Japanese Ophthalmological Society as an ophthalmology specialist, as well as a certified physician for blepharospasm and facial spasm treatment. The clinic specializes in cataracts, neuro-ophthalmology, and pediatric ophthalmology, and as of December 2025, has performed over 12,000 cataract surgeries. The surgical suite features the LUMERA T surgical microscope by Carl Zeiss, providing a high-quality operating environment. An observation room allows family members to watch surgeries during same-day or inpatient procedures, reflecting a strong commitment to informed consent. The clinic offers a broad range of treatments including glaucoma care, laser therapy, Botox treatment, IPL therapy for dry eye caused by meibomian gland dysfunction, eye drop treatment to suppress myopia progression in children, and orthokeratology. Consultation hours are 9:00–12:00 in the morning and 15:00–18:00 in the afternoon, with Thursday afternoons, Sundays, and public holidays closed. English-speaking services are available, and the facility is equipped with parking and barrier-free access, making it accessible to a wide range of patients.
