Miyoshi Clinic, located in Usuki City, Oita Prefecture, is a medical facility providing community-based internal medicine services. Since April 4, 2022, the clinic has succeeded the former Miyoshi Urology Clinic and started operations under a new structure. While continuing urology services, the clinic has expanded to include cardiology and general internal medicine to address a wide range of healthcare needs. The general internal medicine department handles symptoms and conditions such as cough, fever, headache, influenza, pneumonia, diabetes, anemia, and asthma. The cardiology department treats cardiovascular diseases including heart disease and arteriosclerosis, as well as managing lifestyle-related conditions such as hypertension, dyslipidemia, and diabetes. The urology department examines abnormalities in the urinary tract, from the kidneys through the ureters, bladder, to the urethra. A female physician is on staff, ensuring a supportive environment for female patients who may feel hesitant about urology visits. The facility features barrier-free design, allowing patients to be seen without removing their shoes. The consultation areas are spacious. Five parking spaces are available in front of the clinic, with additional parking secured nearby. Consultation hours are from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM in the morning and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the afternoon. Thursday and Saturday afternoons are closed, along with Sundays, public holidays, and the New Year period. English interpretation is available. The clinic is working toward certification for medical DX promotion, implementing online billing, online eligibility verification systems, and accepting My Number cards as health insurance cards. A fever clinic is available for patients with symptoms such as fever or cough, with testing for influenza and COVID-19. Shingles and pneumococcal vaccinations are also offered.
