Located in Nagasu, Usa City, Oita Prefecture, Ishida Internal Medicine is a clinic specializing in internal medicine, cardiology, gastroenterology, and respiratory medicine. Established in December 2002, the clinic has been serving the local community. Dr. Shuji Ishida, the clinic director, graduated from Oita Medical University and completed his training in the First Department of Internal Medicine, overseeing cardiology, diabetes/endocrinology, and gastroenterology. At Usuki City Cosmo Hospital, he also treated asthma and dialysis patients. After a two-year study period in the United States, he worked in cardiology at Oita Prefectural Hospital, specializing in cardiac examinations, catheter treatments, and pacemaker implantation. Through these experiences, he recognized the importance of lifestyle disease management and decided to open the clinic to provide health management and treatment for local residents. In addition to general internal medicine, the clinic offers various vaccinations including influenza, COVID-19, pneumococcal, cervical cancer, and shingles vaccines. It also provides initial treatment for cold symptoms in children aged elementary school and above. Consultation hours are weekdays from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, closed on Sundays, public holidays, and year-end/New Year period.
