Harukaze Clinic, located in Okumake, Kunisaki-cho, Kunisaki City, Oita Prefecture, is an internal medicine clinic certified as a remote area clinic, established in 1999 in what was previously a medically underserved region. The clinic is housed in a renovated elementary school building, featuring a distinctive warm space with long corridors. Internal medicine is offered, with weekday hours from 8:30 AM to noon, and 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM. The clinic is closed on Sundays, holidays, and during New Year's and Obon periods. Non-pharmacological hypertension treatment and wart removal are available, with wart removal starting in December 2024 and non-drug hypertension treatment introduced in July 2024. The clinic is designated as a Type II Agreement Designated Medical Institution and was certified as a Health and Productivity Management Workplace for FY2025 in April 2025. Multilingual support, including English and Korean, is available. Credit cards, debit cards, and electronic payments are accepted, with parking and barrier-free facilities on site. Operated by Medical Corporation Gruppo Harukaze, the group also includes a small-scale multifunction home care facility, visiting nursing station, visiting rehabilitation, and home care support office, ensuring integrated healthcare and nursing care in the community.
