Located in Mimatsu, Nara City, Nara Prefecture, Tomio Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic is an OB/GYN clinic that has supported over 15,000 deliveries since its establishment in 1998. The clinic offers obstetrics outpatient services and general gynecological care, along with a specialized infertility treatment clinic. It provides comprehensive fertility treatments ranging from basic approaches such as timing guidance and artificial insemination to advanced reproductive medicine including IVF and ICSI. It is one of the few medical institutions in Nara Prefecture capable of providing integrated care from infertility treatment to delivery, and is certified as a designated facility for the Specified Infertility Treatment Subsidy Program. While natural delivery is the standard approach, painless delivery with epidural anesthesia is also available, and partner-attended births are welcomed. The clinic maintains a medical team with multiple full-time and part-time physicians, including specialists certified by the Japan Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology, reproductive medicine specialists, and perinatal medicine specialists. A collaboration system with advanced medical institutions has been established for emergency situations. In 2020, the entire facility was renovated, with all private inpatient rooms now equipped with showers and toilets, and special rooms for family stays newly added. The multipurpose room hosts classes and events such as prenatal education, maternity yoga, and baby massage. English interpretation is available, and the clinic accepts credit cards and electronic payments, with parking and barrier-free facilities provided. Consultation hours are 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, closed on Sundays, holidays, and during the New Year period.
