Okamoto Dental Clinic, located in Shimoda-nishi, Kashiba City, Nara Prefecture, is a dental clinic with a history of over 100 years, having first opened in Namba, Osaka before World War II. The clinic offers a wide range of dental services including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, implants, home-visit dental care, and dental care for patients with disabilities. The clinic director, who holds a Doctorate in Dental Science from Osaka University, is a certified dental anesthesiology specialist from the Japanese Dental Society of Anesthesiology and has experience at multiple major hospitals including the National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center, providing safe dental treatment with careful consideration for patients with systemic conditions. The vice-director, a Doctor of Medicine graduate from Okayama University, has accumulated specialized experience in tumor treatment at the Oral Surgery Department of Nara Medical University and is a certified oral surgery specialist from the Japanese Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, focusing on early detection of oral cancer as well as treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders and oral mucosal diseases. In terms of equipment, the clinic has introduced dental CT, CO2 laser, and vital sign monitors, while the sterilization system meets Class B standards under European Standard EN13060, maintaining high-level hygiene management. The clinic has also been providing home-visit dental care for over 25 years with more than 20,000 cases. Both the director and vice-director hold certifications as Care Support Specialists and accommodate partnerships with welfare facilities and home healthcare.
