Shimano Dental Clinic, located in Nishishirodai, Ikoma City, Nara Prefecture, opened in April 2013. Director Dr. Yuichi Shimano graduated from Fukuoka Dental College and gained experience at a university hospital before establishing the clinic. The clinic also has Dr. Toshiko Eguchi, a specialist in orthodontics, on staff, enabling the facility to meet a variety of specialized dental needs. One of the clinic's defining features is its commitment to "patient-centered care," which allows patients to actively participate in decisions regarding their treatment plans. The clinic also proactively provides home visit dental services for elderly patients and those with disabilities who have difficulty traveling to the office, offering care at reasonable prices centered on insurance-covered treatments.
