Abe Medical Clinic, located on the 4th floor of "Green Hill Ikoma" building directly connected to Kintetsu Ikoma Station, is a community-based clinic specializing in internal medicine and gastroenterology. The clinic's key feature is its focus on gastroscopy (stomach camera) and colonoscopy (large intestine camera) examinations. For gastroscopy, the clinic offers reduced-discomfort procedures using transnasal endoscopy and sedatives, and also provides H. pylori eradication therapy. For colonoscopy, various measures are taken to minimize patient burden, including sedative use, improved insertion techniques, and the introduction of carbon dioxide to reduce abdominal bloating. If colon polyps are found during the examination, they can be removed on the spot. Same-day examinations are available, and Saturday examinations are offered for those who have difficulty scheduling on weekdays. The general internal medicine practice addresses a wide range of conditions, from digestive symptoms such as stomach pain, heartburn, constipation, and diarrhea to lifestyle disease management. Specific health checkups and cancer screenings are also available. Additionally, the radiology department performs X-ray and ultrasound examinations, and home-visit medical care is provided for patients who have difficulty visiting the clinic. English interpretation is available, and the facility is wheelchair accessible. Clinic hours are 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the morning and 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM in the afternoon, closed on Thursdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
