Ueda Medical Clinic, operated by Medical Corporation Ueda, is located near Kintetsu Minami-Ikoma Station in Ose-cho, Ikoma City, Nara Prefecture, providing internal medicine and ophthalmology services. The medical director holds certifications in General Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine, with two additional physicians covering internal medicine, while the vice-director specializes in ophthalmology. A key feature is the convenience of receiving both internal medicine and ophthalmology care in one facility. Since lifestyle-related diseases like hypertension and diabetes often involve eye-related complications, and systemic conditions can be detected through eye examinations, the coordinated care between both departments offers significant benefits to patients. The clinic has served the local community for three generations since its founding by the first director, Katsue Ueda, a graduate of Osaka Women's Medical College (now Kansai Medical University). Hours are 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, closed on Sundays, holidays, year-end/New Year, and Bon period. English support is available.
