Ikoma Municipal Hospital is a core regional medical facility located in front of Kintetsu Higashi-Ikoma Station. The institution has obtained "Hospital Functional Assessment (General Hospital Category 2)" accreditation from the Japan Council for Quality Health Care, with the certification period extending from February 2024 to February 2029, demonstrating that its organizational medical delivery system has been evaluated by a third party. Additionally, as a designated Home Care Support Hospital, the facility has established a coordination system with regional medical institutions and smoothly accepts patients referred from primary care physicians. The Pediatrics Department maintains a staff of five full-time physicians and participates in the secondary pediatric rotation system in the Kita-Wa region, playing an important role in pediatric emergency medical services. In terms of facilities, English language support is available, and the hospital accepts various cashless payment methods including credit cards, debit cards, and electronic payments. Parking and barrier-free facilities are also fully equipped. Since fiscal year 2020, the hospital has maintained an operating surplus and eliminated cumulative deficits from its opening, demonstrating stable management operations.
