Nagasaki Kidney Clinic, located in Togitsu Town, Nishisonogi District, Nagasaki Prefecture, opened in October 2004 as the town's first dialysis medical facility. Specializing in internal medicine and nephrology, the clinic provides specialized medical care centered on hemodialysis. In July 2011, following integration with Medical Corporation Shuwakai Sakuramachi Hospital, the clinic adopted its current name. The clinic has implemented an electronic medical record system integrated with dialysis equipment, enabling unified information management between the hospital and clinic to provide dialysis treatment tailored to each patient. The facility is equipped with 39 dialysis beds, along with changing rooms and a lounge for patient comfort. The medical staff includes Dr. Junichiro Hashiguchi, the director, who holds a medical doctorate and is a certified general internal medicine specialist by the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine and a certified specialist and supervisor by the Japanese Society for Dialysis Therapy. The team also includes full-time physician Dr. Tayo Kawazu and part-time physician Dr. Yumiko Tsutsui, both holding similar specialist qualifications. Clinic hours are 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The clinic is closed on Sundays, public holidays, and from December 30 to January 3 for the New Year period. English assistance is available, and the clinic accepts credit cards and electronic payments. Parking and barrier-free facilities are also provided.
