Located in Saito City, Miyazaki Prefecture, the Local Independent Administrative Agency Saito Koyu Medical Center serves as a core healthcare institution in the region, providing medical services primarily in internal medicine. In addition to regular weekday morning and afternoon consultations, the center operates an evening emergency clinic offering internal medicine and surgical care from 5:45 PM to 9:45 PM. Cardiology outpatient services are also available every Thursday morning. As a designated regional disaster base hospital, the center maintains DMAT (Disaster Medical Assistance Team) activities and conducts disaster preparedness training. In May 2025, the CT equipment was replaced, demonstrating ongoing updates to diagnostic facilities. The center includes a health examination department, providing health screening services. Due to the high number of patients with underlying conditions and elderly patients at higher risk of severe illness, cooperation with mask-wearing continues to be requested. The facility features a parking lot and barrier-free access. Outpatient services require appointments, and patients without a referral from a primary care physician need a referral letter. The center has established a system capable of supporting multiple languages, including English and Korean. With the exception of year-end and New Year holidays, the center maintains a system to accommodate emergency patients during evening hours.
