Honoka Maternity Clinic, located in Miyakonojo City, Miyazaki Prefecture, provides comprehensive support from pregnancy through childbirth and postpartum care. Prenatal checkups are by appointment only, with 40-60 minutes dedicated to each visit. Checkups include full-body thermal massage (Ito Thermie). After pregnancy confirmation and due date determination at Maruta Hospital (a contracted medical facility), patients receive their Maternal and Child Health Handbook and complete their first prenatal checkup before being accepted for subsequent visits. The clinic coordinates prenatal care in parallel with Miyakonojo Medical Center, another contracted facility, to prepare for delivery. Postpartum support includes meals tailored to recovery and breastfeeding status, featuring seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. The clinic accommodates allergies and individual dietary preferences. The facility has parking and is wheelchair accessible. Hours are 9 AM to 5 PM, closed on Sundays, holidays, New Year's, and Obon. English support is available.
