Hideyuki Eye Clinic is located in a prime location along Chris Road in Aoba Ward, Sendai City, just a 1-minute walk from Hirose-dori Station on the Sendai Subway Namboku Line. This specialized ophthalmology clinic opened in December 2020. Director Dr. Eiyuki Konno graduated from Juntendo University School of Medicine and has long served as a chief at a regional core hospital, engaging in a wide range of treatments including external and internal eye surgeries. An ophthalmologist with extensive clinical experience, he brings his expertise to local medical care in Sendai. The clinic covers a broad range of fields including general ophthalmology, dry eye, cataract, glaucoma, allergic conjunctivitis, eyelid disorders, and sports ophthalmology, with cataract and glaucoma surgeries available in-house. In terms of equipment, the clinic is equipped with OCT, automated visual field analyzer, laser treatment devices (including SLT for glaucoma), and surgical microscopes, ensuring a system capable of highly accurate diagnosis and treatment. Emphasis is placed on explaining carefully in easy-to-understand terms without using medical jargon, and treatment plans are established together with patients after listening to their preferences. With consultations available until 7 PM on weekdays and 5 PM on Saturdays, the clinic offers an environment that is easy to visit after work or school.
